'Pimp Your Salsa and Bachata'

Richard is one of the youngest and brightest up and coming teachers on the Latin scene. Within just two short years from his transformation as a hip-hop dancer, he has become an International teacher and performer. He was a member of the great Frank Santos' dance troop 'A Yemaya' until Frank left our shores for a sunnier climate.
We have had Richard teach for us on many occasions from running his own workshops, at our monthly parties and our all day events. The amount of times we have had him down to Bristol to teach speaks volumes of what we think of him.
Richard has his own unique flair and that is what we always ask him to base his lessons on and tonight is no exception. If you want to add that 'little' something extra, the flick of the wrist, the leg kick, drop of the shoulder that sets you apart from all the other dancers on the dance floor then tonight is for you. Simply put, come and 'Pimp your Salsa and Bachata' . One Salsa lesson, one Bachata.
Taking our beginners this month are John & Shanon from salsa Mojo. This popular couple are going to give lessons in Bachata and cha cha cha. These classes will suit anybody with little or no experience of these two Latin dances. Both lessons will be fun and short routines and will be taught alongside the basic steps. John will be playing his sounds in the Somerdale room afterwards, which will allow you to practise what you have learnt as well as honing other skills.
As always, playing your music in the main Carter room will be tiny Tim which guarantees keeping the dance floor packed until closing time. All the latest Salsa and Bachata tracks will be played as well as your old favourites. If you have any requests go and see him and I know he will be glad to indulge you if he can!
If there are any newbies wanting to learn the basic Salsa steps either Wayne or Billy will be available to give classes in the Avon room. Please request this at the front door upon arrival.
We have the friendliest of atmospheres and everyone is welcome!
