Due to the success and popularity of our 8 week beginners Salsa course - we are bringing it to the Foundation Centre in Kingswood!(Situated in Britannia Road which is just off Kingswood High Street and Two Mile Hill)

There is a 50% discount for people registering as "leaders" on this course - imitating our Thursdays class offer

Salsa is suitable for just about everyone regardless of your age, shape or size. We have people in our classes aged from 20 - 71. It can help stimulate you mentally and physically and many of our students have reported weight loss and toned muscle, it is a potential aid to physiotherapy and for many it gives a great social life.

Learn To Salsa - Beginner to Intermediate Levels

Schedule : Thursday - Weekly     Start Time : 19:30:00     End Time : 22:55:00

Description :
Holding weekly classes on Thursdays in the new South Bristol Sport Centre.

Beginners Course
Students will learn a routine that they can take to the dance floor. We run eight week courses that will not only teach you the basic steps but build into a routine that you can take to the dance floor. Each week we re-cap on the previous week before adding the next stage. the courses are ran at an appropriate speed so that everyone can keep up. If you find yourself wanting some extra help just let us know and if you come early the following week one of our five instructors should be available to give you some one-one instruction at no extra cost. Likewise if you miss a week through work or holidays.

Jumpers lessons
These weekly classes are geared towards technique and styling. We offer 2 levels to help you build your routine.

Improvers lessons
This class more than the other two, will be designed to test you and to improve and expand your repertoire

Intermediate lessons
We have employed a new teacher to teach to an Intermediate level. These classes are amongst the very highest anywhere in Bristol and anyone of a competent standard is welcome to attend. The aim is to increase your dance pattern repertoire and give you tips on advanced lead and follow techniques. Turn patterns are adhered with flicks and kicks and classes may include the odd dip or trick

NEW! 8 Week Ladies Styling Course

Not available as drop-in classes.
Time: 7.30pm - 8.30pm

Styling is probably the biggest single element that can take your dancing to the next level. All to often teachers either do not have the time or inclination to teach this very important aspect of ladies salsa dancing.

Styling is very personal as it allows you to express your individuality/sexuality on the dance floor. Nevertheless as with most things in life if we aren t taught these things we can not perform them and there is nothing worse than half hearted or ill time styling.

This being said, styling in the most basic form is easy to do and use. It all starts with good teaching practise timing. This course will look at numerous aspects of styling from your basic steps through shines to complicated upper body and footwork.

Agnieszka Zembron is one of the most stylish dancers in the Southwest and whatever your level you will benefit from taking this course with her.
