Salsa Ireland

Salsa Ireland was formed in March 2002 by a group of like-minded salsa enthusiasts with the aim of growing and developing the salsa scene in Cork and the rest of Ireland. The group first started out by bringing top UK salsa instructors to Cork to hold monthly workshops. Eventually, as the success of these workshops grew far beyond initial expectations, Salsa Ireland was born.

To date, we have hosted seven international salsa festivals, in addition to providing regular classes and workshops throughout the country.

Ultimately, we hope to share our enjoyment of salsa with everyone by showing the fun, exciting and spontaneous nature of a dance based on vibrant music. With an ever developing and now officially recognised salsa scene in Ireland, we plan on letting the world know just how Latin the Irish can be!
