Salsa Gill

I started teaching salsa about 6 years ago with Karen of The Latin Experience and I have taught classes in Liverpool, the Wirral, Manchester and Cheshire. When I am not teaching salsa, I am a science teacher and a mum of 3; I like to think that both activities are hugely helpful when it comes to running classes!

I teach Cuban and LA styles as well as La Rueda (a group dance that started as a cuban party game). We concentrate on Cuban-style, mainly because it allows our students to attend the regular salsa social events that happen all over the UK and dance confidently at these events, even within the first few weeks of learning salsa.

As well as teaching beginners, I also have intermediate and improver classes and we think you will surprise yourself at how quickly you can master some really fancy moves that are actually easy to learn but look GREAT on the dancefloor!
