Latin Motion

Latin Motion was founded in 1993 by Mauricio Reyes, and is now jointly run on a full time basis by Mauricio & Zane, hosting salsa classes, workshops and club nights in and around the Midlands. From small beginnings, our aim has always been to bring salsa to the people of Birmingham and the UK at large in an inclusive manner. We are talking about major good times - all races, ages and sexes, deep roots, pumping beats, exploding passion, and not a sequin or fake tan in sight. Today, as a major force in the salsa world, Latin Motion is recognised for its professionalism, consistency and upbeat workshops/events winning multiple awards at the 2003 UK & British Salsa congresses. It was awarded Top Regional Promoters Award, Services to Salsa Award and Top UK Salsa DJ Award (for Mauricio Reyes). Latin Motion’s team (probably the biggest Salsa team in the UK) continues to expand bringing Salsa dancing to a wider audience with both local classes and national events. Its mission is to offer classes / workshops / events for all abilities in a friendly and inviting manner. Be warned you may get seriously hooked!
